Get Out the Vote 2013!

It’s fall in Virginia, which means it’s time for another election. This year, we have one of the starkest choices in state history for Governor/Lieutenant Governor/Attorney General – the pro-growth, pro-choice ticket of Terry McAuliffe, Ralph Northam and Mark Herring vs. Ken Cuccinelli, E.W. Jackson and Mark Obenshain, the most ideological ticket Virginia has ever seen. Locally we also have an important race: the 88th District House of Delegates seat, where Kathleen O’Halloran is looking to defeat Mark Cole, one of Virginia’s most conservative legislators.

Knocking on doors and making phone calls for our candidates is the only way we will succeed and we need your help to turn Virginia’s state government blue. Help us get out the vote whenever you can – the campaign office is open every day. Join us at 517A Jefferson Davis Highway (next to the Family Dollar) today to start making a difference. If you have any questions, contact Kate Magill at 941.928.4212.

88th District Debate – Kathleen O’Halloran vs. Mark Cole

Join us on Wednesday, September 18, at 7:30 PM as we support Kathleen O’Halloran in her debate against Mark Cole. Kathleen is running for the 88th District House of Delegates seat and this debate will be a great opportunity to show voters Kathleen’s vision for our area and how that vision contrasts with the failed ideas of Cole’s tenure. The debate will be held at Lee Hall on the campus of Mary Washington University. Please make sure to show up at least 15 minutes beforehand to claim a seat. See you there!
